I am having so much fun sharing this Trivia and food facts with you all. I hope you to are enjoying the information…
Continuing on our Food trivia our next alphabetical letter is “V”
Veal
It is the meat from young (usually dairy) cattle under 3 months of age
Typically either sex male or female could be utilized; most times it is the male calves
Veal is used in quite a bit of Italian dishes (Veal parmigiana) Veal Cutlets, Veal Steaks
In many areas of the U.S. it can be quite costly per pound and other meat selections are made
Is that a fact???
We don’t have veal too often in this house due to the expense. But I do like to order it at restaurants!
